About the Honey Bump
Hafa Adai, my name is Nicole and I am the owner of Honey Bump Maternity. I come from the beautiful island of GUAM and I am a proud wife, mommy,poop cleaner, tear wiper, owie kisser MOMMY. And now I am a business owner (as if child rearing wasn't enough work). It has always been a dream of mine to open a second hand clothing store. When I was 17, I moved to Seattle and would shop on Broadway at all the hip second hand stores. They had the best clothes and best deals, trading my clothes in for more stuff became my favorite thing to do on a regular basis.
During my last pregnancy it became a real struggle to find fashionable maternity clothing that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I tried to make regular clothing fit but after some time, it began to get uncomfortable. Belly bands were my favorite! Every time I went shopping there were so few items, all outrageously priced that I would give up and go to another store when I felt up to it again. I also tried shopping online and I found some really cute clothes but they just didn't fit right once they arrived. Out of these frustrations, Honey Bump was born. My goal was to create a place where mothers could come not only find great items and awesome deals, but to make friends and find resources to help make the adventure of motherhood even more enjoyable.

I am a wife, to a wonderful husband, and have been married for 8 years. I am a mother, to a wonderful 10 month old boy, named Ryder. I am a veteran, and was in the U.S. Air Force for 6 years. I am a college graduate with a degree in business administration. I am addicted to cloth diapers!
Second, let me tell you what I was…
I was on a kitchen crew at a summer camp. I was a burger maker and cashier at Burger King. I was an F-16, and then an F-22 crew chief (jet mechanic) in the Air Force. I was a cashier and then a cash office specialist at Target. I was a teller at Weber State Credit Union.
Third, let me tell you why I love working here...
I have found my niche at Honey Bump! I love people and the way great clothes seem to brighten a day. I understand the value of a bargain and love to share that with others. I love babies, and bringing them into the world in a more fashionable way! I love re-cycled, up-cycled, natural, baby wearing and nursing products. I love evenly spacing hangers on the racks.
